Nevada Deserts

Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - 2006. We spent a week in Las Vegas and did a little touring around the southern parts of Nevada. These photos were taken at Valley of Fire State Park, Red Rock Canyon and Lee Canyon in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area. All areas close to and surrounding Las Vegas.

Red Rock Canyon is just a few miles west of Las Vegas, Nevada on Hwy 159. This is a Joshua Tree (a type of Yucca) near the park visitor centre.
